Adis has already faced more challenges in his 10 years than many people face in a lifetime.
Born with Alagille syndrome and Tetralogy of Fallot, a complex congenital heart defect, Adis underwent open-heart surgery when he was just a few months old. Recent testing revealed severe narrowing in the pathway carrying blood from his heart to his lungs, leaving his family facing limited surgical options.
His family is continuing to seek answers through second opinions, leading congenital heart specialists, and specialized treatment centers.
Beyond the appointments and tests, Adis is a fun-loving boy who enjoys building LEGO creations, learning about vintage cars, playing video games, and teaching himself new languages.
This tournament brings our community together to support Adis and help ease the costs of medical care, travel, lodging, meals, and time away from work as his family pursues treatment options.
Teams will be divided into three groups of four. Each team plays the other three teams in its group, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
Group-stage matches last up to 15 minutes and end early if a team reaches a five-goal lead. Scheduled kickoff times remain fixed, even when a game finishes early.
Teams are ranked by points, followed by goal difference, goals scored, and head-to-head results for two-team ties. Any remaining ties will follow the tournament’s announced tiebreaker procedure.
Six teams advance. The two highest-ranked group winners receive semifinal byes, while the remaining four teams compete in the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals and semifinals are 15 minutes. The championship features two eight-minute halves with a two-minute halftime. Tied knockout games go directly to penalties.
The championship is tentatively scheduled for 4 p.m.
